You will be asked the following questions at the beginning of each session and you will be presented with a covid-19 release waiver to sign.....Have yourecently had a fever, any respiratory or flu symptoms, sore throat, or shortness of breath?
Please wash your hands or use hand sanitizer before entering the studio. If you or anyone in your home, are tested positive for Covid, please wait at least 60 days to come in for an appointment with an updated negative Covid test.
If YOU test positive for Covid and have been into our studio within the last 2 weeks, please call me immediately.
Edette, Naomi and I will be taking our temperature at the start of our day and we will be taking your temperature when you come in for your appointment. If you or Edette , Naomi or I feel like we might be catching something, we will agree to contact each other to cancel or reschedule an appointment. There will be no cancellation fee. Both therapist and client will wear masks during the session. You can bring you own or we will provide a new disposable mask for you. It can be difficult to wear a mask while you are face down, so we created a “hammock” with a pillow case. This will serve as a modified mask. It works great!
The owners of our building have installed HEPA filters in the HVAC returns earlier this year so that the air coming into each space is filtered. A room HEPA air purifier will run all day to help clean the air in the studio of viruses and other particles. A TRUE HEPA air purifier will run all day to clean the air. This filter will capture PM 0.3 size particles.
All used linens will be sealed in a plastic tub and will be laundered by a professional laundry service with a oxygenation/sanitization process. Clean linens will be stored behind a closed door cabinet.
Disinfect high-touch surfaces between each client with a hospital grade germicide, Citrus II or disinfectant wipes. Surfaces include door handles, tabletops, writing utensils, clipboards, light switches; lotion bottles, massage stool, hot towel cabinet, and payment touch screens. Face cradle and table have cleanable coverings that will be disinfected after each client.
Therapist will wash her hands thoroughly (as usual) after each session and prior to the next session. We book all clients 30 minutes apart to enable us to air out the studio and disinfect.
For your protection we will not be providing water, please bring your own water bottle.
